McAfee DXL Integration

Asset Manager has developed an event-publishing capability that enables Asset Manager Asset Manager to publish events to a McAfee DXL broker.

Event publishing is set up as follows:

1. Provide DXL brokers with CA-validated information about Asset Manager Asset Manager (i.e.,Tell the DXL broker about Asset Manager Asset Manager. Use a certificate to have DXL broker "trust" Asset Manager.)
   Procedure: Importing the DXL CA Certificate (ca.crt) to ePO
   
   
2. Enable DXL clients and DXL brokers to mutually authenticate. (Export the broker cert)
   Procedure: Exporting the DXL Broker Certificates (brokercerts.crt) from McAfee ePO
   
   
3. Enable DXL clients and DXL brokers to mutually authenticate. (Export the broker list properties)
   Procedure: Exporting the DXL Broker List (brokerlist.properties)
   
   
4. Add the McAfee DXL Integration to Asset Manager Asset Manager.
   Procedure:Configure the McAfee DXL Integration in Asset Manager Asset Manager.
   
   
5. Direct users to a prospective console in which to display topics published to DXL. (Read output in Task Manager or Asset Manager)
   Procedure: Subscribing to the Asset Manager DXL Topic in SIA DXL Task Manager
