Lumeta upgrade packages are self-installing and preserve your current configuration settings for organizations, zones, collectors, roles, and system connections. Procedures to preserve any user-created elements you may have added such as custom dashboard widgets and reports or custom device profiles along with procedures to backup the configurations you have in place are ahead.

To expedite the installation of Lumeta and enable you to produce actionable analytics about your network, confirm the following:

  • You are a licensed user of Lumeta 
  • You have login credentials to Lumeta's SFTP site.
  • You have login credentials to Lumeta.
  • If you are a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) user, you have certificates stored on your local system or on a smart card (CAC) to authenticate to Lumeta without a password.
  • You will upgrade an virtual Lumeta Command Center and/or Lumeta Scout

If you do not meet these prerequisites because you are unlicensed, plan to upgrade an Lumeta appliance (rather than a virtual machine), or lack login credentials , please contact us for assistance.
