Asset Manager can Discover Devices in the IPv6 Address Space.
User would input the IPv6 Space in their Discovery Space List or Eligible List to begin sending targets to IPv6 addresses.
The size of an IPv6 CIDR can be quite large. Please follow the below best practices
- Create a new Collector for IPv6 Discovery
- Only add IPv6 Addresses to the Collector Discovery Space
- Do not enable Host for the Collector
- Enable Path Discovery for the IPv6 Collector to Build Target Space
All other collector configurations will be similar to your IPv4 Discovery.; DNS, SNMP, Port, Profile, etc.
