To add an external connection, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to Settings > External Connections.
2. Click Add connection. 
3. On the General page:
   • Enter a unique name for the connection. 
   • Optional: Enter a comma-separated list of tags and a description for the connection. 
4. Click Next.
5. On the External Connection details page:
   1. Select a Type of connection from the drop-down list. 
   2. The Driver field will populate based on the Type selection or you can select Custom to enter your own. 
   3. Select if the connection will Connect by a Host or URL.. If Host is selected, you will have additional data fields to complete. 
   4. Enter the Username and Password for the connection type. 
6. Click Test connection. 
7. If connection is successful and no changes are needed, click Create connection.
