Tenable Security Center Dashboard

Asset Manager accesses the API of Tenable Security Center (at a polling interval set by the user) and retrieves the inventory of hosts, servers, and other endpoint systems.

Asset Manager correlates this inventory against Asset Manager's authoritative index of IP address space. Asset Manager compares and then advises of any IPs where it doesn't see a Tenable Security Center endpoint; indicating that these IPs would be "undefended/unmanaged" endpoints. Asset Manager then highlights the differences and commonalities into views.

The following widgets are displayed in the Tenable Security Center Management dashboard:

  • Visibility Alignment: Percentage of Asset Manager Devices known by Tenable Security Center. To achieve 100% Visibility Alignment, view the charts on this screen to find the voids in your integration discovery.

  • Asset Manager vs Tenable Security Center IPs: Pie chart offering quick visual of what IPs Asset Manager discovered, what IPs are known by Tenable Security Center, and what IPs both have knowledge.

  • Asset Manager Total IPs: Total IPs Discovered by Asset Manager.

  • Asset Manager Exclusive IP Count: IPs Asset Manager Discovered that are not managed by Tenable Security Center. Check your Tenable Security Center inventory for these IP addresses and add them if they are not present.

  • Tenable Security Center Exclusive IP Count: IPs managed by Tenable Security Center that Asset Manager is not scanning. Verify these IPs are in your Asset Manager Zone Discovery Spaces.

  • Tenable Security Center& Asset Manager IPs: This is your full visibility table. When 100% Visibility Alignment is achieved all your network IPs will reside in this table.
