Please be aware that Asset Manager software can pull  data from McAfee ePO without the use of any plug-ins.

<Additional information related to the 5.10 plug-in will go here.>

The features and improvements made in the 5.1.2 upgrade to McAfee ePO extension for Asset Manager follow.

  1. The extension for McAfee ePO reflects the Asset Manager product's name change from Asset Manager ESI to Asset Manager.
  2. In Asset Manager 3.3 and later, the solution will no longer push devices lacking a IP address to the ePO server. In Asset Manager 3.2.7 and earlier, Asset Manager pushes devices with null IPs (and non-null MAC addresses). These were then grouped in a dashboard widget by IP address. As a result, all devices with null IPs displayed as one device, which was misleading.
  3. Asset Manager 3.3 labels devices that have a null devicetype or OS information as 'Unprofiled'. ePO-releated dashboards now display the label 'Unprofiled' instead of empty cells.
  4. The default ePO Management dashboard will be customized No new tables have been added and it continues to use data that has been pushed by the existing extension.
  5. The default dashboard name has been changed to 'Asset Manager Discovered Devices' instead of 'Asset Manager ESI Discovered Devices'
  6. Version number been changed from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2.
