Data Management
Asset Manager's data warehouse is essential for breach- and cyber-analytics processing. The data warehouse can correlate ingested data from NetFlow and Threat Intelligence feeds. Asset Manager maintains a persistent relationship with these data feeds, enabling you to true-up the information in your reference sources against the most authoritative network index: Yours––produced with Asset Manager. To experience Asset Manager's data-management capabilities, go to Settings > Tables > Add Table. There you'll find options to create tables that enable you to correlate and report on data residing in Asset Manger's PostgreSQL data warehouse.
You can create three table types:
- Managed Primary - This enables you to create a table using data that resides within Asset Manager's PostgreSQL structured database. Select Managed Primary when you expect the data comprising your table to change frequently.
- External Table - Tables preconfigured by Asset Manager. Users can create a table of table type External.
- View - This enables you to create a view that combines information from multiple tables of any type.
