Manage Zones
To manage a variety of zones, you'll need to know how to add, edit and delete them.
Add a Zone
To add a zone, do the following:

Go to Settings > Zones.

Click Add.

Set properties for your zone, using an informative Name and Description to easily recognize its purpose or unifying characteristic. Zone names can be a combination of alphanumeric characters and special characters and can start with number.
The maximum number of characters for a user name is 32. Special characters except for apostrophes (') are allowed.

Click Add.
Your new zone displays on the left in the Available Zones list.
If your new zone doesn't display within 90 seconds, an application error has likely occurred, and the operation has timed out. You can log in to your Command Center again to finish adding the zone.
Edit a Zone
To edit a zone, do the following:
Caution Note: Changing the zone name will disable the pull option on your integrations. This pull option creates devices in Asset Manager obtained from the integration API. After changing the zone name view your enabled integrations and re-enable the pull option where applicable.
- Go to Settings > Zones.
- Select the zone you want to revise, and then click Edit.
- Revise the settings as needed. Keep in mind the caution note regarding zone name changes.
- Click Save. Your revised zone displays on the left in the Available Zones column.
Delete a Zone
To delete a zone, do the following:
- Go to Settings > Zones.
- Select the zone you want to delete, and then click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
